The university’s headquarters in the suburb of Povo is home to the Department of Engineering and Computer Science, the Department of Industrial Engineering and the CIBIO Research Centre.
It is made up of two interlinked blocks of buildings, has a surface area of approximately 20,000m2 across teaching rooms, teaching laboratories and research laboratories along with spaces for collective study and recreation, offices, a canteen, a library and a car park. The final plans for the building were drawn up by a group made up of Ishimoto Architectural & Engineering Firm, Inc., with registered office in Tokyo (leader), and Ishimoto Europe S.r.l., Tekne S.p.a. and Corbellini S.r.l., all three of which have their registered offices in Milan.
