Lago di Nembia

Lake Nembia

Lake Nembia is just 400m long and 120m wide, and is rather shallow. The small basin lies 1km to the south of Lake Molveno, at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites.
Both are ‘landslide lakes’ formed around 3,000 years ago following a huge landslide that blocked the valley, stopping the natural flow of water. There is an oasis between the two lakes, which extends over just over two hectares but is home to a variety of flora and fauna (thanks to a partnership between Enel and the WWF).

Accessible by car, the car park is at the end of the lake.
