Piazza Catena - Riva del Garda
Piazza Catena named after the big chain that was kept suspended above the water to defend the port in centuries gone by.
Up until 1929 the piazza was home to the imperial customs house: the sign of a border that divided the northern part of the lake from the regions to the south for centuries.
