The forest is the centre of Dani and Michele’s meeting; in this place, in fact, the two
characters follow, repulse and get to know each other. A space in which nature
becomes theatre, reality is the soul place with meanings and metaphors transcending it. The movie director Andrea Segre, as he did in his debut “Io Sono Li”, keeps mixing imagination and common people’s romantic and emotional dramas, setting them in everyday life context, in unpretentious places and old-fashioned professions.
The story telling is, once again, built on a continuous dialogue between documentary- film direction and mis-en-scene; a dialogue permeating first of all actors’ playing in which main
professional actors and everyday real people interact with each other, in a
deep identification process with the environment surrounding them.
